Welcome to The Thrive Clinic, Your Family Practice Specializing in Functional Medicine

I would like to provide the solutions to my patients that I personally have used to reverse my own chronic disease challenge, after failing to find the answer in the conventional medical approach.

I have been using these strategies to help my patients since 2013 and I have since completed the full training program in Functional Medicine with the Institute of Functional Medicine.

It has proven impossible to continue providing this level of care within the insurance-based system, as they don’t cover lifestyle and dietary interventions. We, therefore, have memberships available with different tiers, depending on individual needs, to help those who place a premium on their health and don’t want to accept the limits of traditional healthcare and insurance.

My goal is to treat the individual, not the disease. Serious or acute conditions are addressed first. Appropriate testing, referral, and prescription medication are used as indicated but, in many cases, the need for these can be eliminated and all cases it can be reduced, depending on motivation.

Thrive Memberships

We offer a few different membership options to fit all of our patient’s needs. Click below to see which Membership program is best for you.

BIA (Body Impedance Analysis)

In less than 60 seconds, an InBody Test can provide easy-to-understand, accurate, and objective measurements to evaluate a patient’s disease risk. Doctors and nurses can use the InBody to:

  • Monitor muscle, fat, and visceral fat to provide an accurate measure of health risk
  • Assess muscle distribution to determine patient-specific health risks related to disease and frailty
  • Identify fluid imbalances related to specific diseases
  • Track changes for more effective long-term risk identification and reduction

HeartMath research has demonstrated that different patterns of heart activity (which accompany different emotional states) have distinct effects on cognitive and emotional function. During stress and negative emotions, when the heart rhythm pattern is erratic and disordered, the corresponding pattern of neural signals traveling from the heart to the brain inhibits higher cognitive functions.
